“Faith Becomes Real Through Service”

Story

A group of Catholic university students in Palermo began preparing sandwiches every Friday evening for homeless people near the train station.

At first, they simply wanted to help. But over time, they discovered that listening and speaking with people was just as important as providing food.

One volunteer shared:

“We realized that many people were hungry not only for bread, but also for dignity and friendship.”

Their service became a witness of Christian solidarity and human fraternity.

Reflection

Jesus identified Himself with the poor and forgotten.
Every act of charity becomes an encounter with Christ Himself.
